Join us for our Ribbon Skirt Workshop with special guest, Seli Stewart! Seli (Sarah) Stewart is a Special Projects Officer within Cherokee Nation's department of community and cultural outreach. She has been sewing for most of her life after learning the basics in junior high school and beading since 2016. She became a TERO certified artist in March of 2022. Most of Seli's art projects focus on Cherokee stories, culture, and language. She was most recently awarded 2nd place in the category of emerging artists at the Trail of Tears Art Show in 2023 for her cornhusk doll, and has created apparel for First Daughter, Jazzy Hoskin, and Delegate Kim Teehee.

Lunch and crafting materials are provided.
